the house plan process

THE PRELIMINARY STAGE

Once you feel ready to begin with the house plans a meeting will be scheduled. If you are local to the Indianapolis area this meeting will take place at our office, otherwise we will handle it via phone, fax, or E-mail.

You will be asked to fill out a Specification Form to assist us in the conceptual development of your home. Ceiling heights, window style, and foundation type is just a sample of the information needed.

At this point, the components within your file will be compiled and blended along with your comments and ideas, into a fresh new plan.

The preliminary set of drawings will include floor plans and a front elevation. This initial set of plans will show exterior dimensions and interior room sizes. In most cases a memo will be included describing suggested improvements for the layout or giving reasons if variations were required.
